Objective: TO observc pharmacological effects of Ilexolic acid
(1La) on thrombosis and its mechanism.
Metbods: Time occlusive thrombosis time(OT): Weigh moist
weight ofthrombus: Test ELT. PT. KPTT: Measure maximum
platelst aggregation rate in 5 min (MPAR5M) using TYXN-91A
model automatic blood agglutinate appliance: 6-keto-PGF1a and
cAMP were measured by radioimmunoassay.
Results: ILa(20. 40. 80mg.kg') inhibited significantly thrombosis
of artery and vein in rat. lLa (25. 50mg.kg-i) inhibited obviously
platelet aggregation induced by ADP and collagen in rabbit, ILa(20.
40. 80.g.kgi) increased markedly fibrinolysis and PGI2 in artery
smooth muscle cell in rat. ILa(3. 6mg.ml-'PRP) can increase cAMP in
platelet in rat .ILa(20. 40. 80mg.kgi) decreased markedly peripheral
resistance witk rat lower limbs artery bcing poured into at constant
velocity ILa(20. 40. 80mg.kg-') had no effect on intrinsic coagulation
system and extrinsic coagulation system.
Conclusion: ILa had effects of inhibiting thrombosis'
inhibiting platelet aggregation as well as increasing fibrinolysis and
decreasing peripheral resistance. It is suggested that inhibiting
platelst aggregation was concerned with increasing PG12 and cAMP.
