学生译员的显身性认知研究
【摘要】:本文旨在通过问卷调查研究学生译员的显身性认知。问卷的调查对象是外交学院英语口译专业的研一和研二在读学生。问卷分为三部分。第一部分是研究对象的社会背景调查,包括年龄、性别、在读年级、本科专业和口译实践次数。第二部分是口译质量评价标准,包括表达流畅、术语准确、语法正确、符合原意、语调生动、发音地道、逻辑连贯、声音悦耳、同时性、风格合适和完整性。第三部分是显身性认知,包括角色描述、显身性具体表现方式、显身性看法转变及可能原因。结论主要有四点。一、学生译员重视满足客户要求,并且这种重视程度随着翻译实践的增多而加深。二、尽管学生译员认同译员的显身性,但他们对显身性的不同表现接受程度不同。三、学生译员有自相矛盾的显身性认知。四、由于英语口译课程中有关显身性的讨论或者翻译实践中的经历,大部分学生译员改变过对显身性的认知,而且这些讨论以及实践次数的增多对学生译员改变自身对显身性的认知有直接影响。这些结论显示显身性的认知形成是有一个过程的,认识这个过程有助于帮助译员形成对显身性的合理认知并选择恰当的翻译策略。
